A lane for Upbit-verified addresses.

GIWA's Dojang lets Upbit Korea attest on-chain that an address belongs to a verified person. KIMP reads that one boolean to open a parallel market with higher limits. The rest of the protocol stays permissionless.

What is Dojang도장이란?

Upbit's attestations, on GIWA.

Dojang is GIWA's attestation service, built on the Ethereum Attestation Service. Upbit Korea issues four kinds: Verified Address, Balance Root, Verified Balance and Verified Code. KIMP uses only Verified Address.

KimpMarket applies onlyVerified(msg.sender), which asks the standalone gate about the trader, on Verified Lane opens and increases. If the attestation is revoked, existing positions can still be closed or held to expiry, but not increased.

    Verify with Upbit

    Complete Upbit Korea KYC and link your wallet through GIWA's Verified Address service.

  2. 02

    Attestation on-chain

    Upbit Korea issues a Verified Address attestation on GIWA through Dojang, built on EAS. DojangScroll.isVerified returns true for it.

  3. 03

    KIMP checks at open

    KimpMarket asks KimpVerifiedGate, which calls DojangScroll.isVerified(trader, UPBIT_KOREA), on every Verified Lane open or increase.

  4. 04

    Trade the lane

    Higher limits apply. Closing, settlement and liquidation never require the check.

up.id

Names instead of addresses.

up.id gives every Verified Address a free, non-transferable name such as name.up.id. Names are ENS subdomains, soulbound, and revoked if the Verified Address lapses. The Verified Lane leaderboard shows up.id names for traders who opt in.

Privacy

No personal data on-chain. None with KIMP.

KYC stays with Upbit. DojangScroll answers one question with true or false, and that boolean is all KIMP reads: no name, no document, no balance. KIMP never receives KYC data and cannot request it.
